Unlucky, unhappy, liable to be interfered with, particularly said of families, one of whose members met death by drowning. A superstitious belief has it, that it will always be either rainy or stormy, whenever such a family gets up some merry-making, as at a marriage, baptism, picnic, etc. (see úyaw).
