Hiligaynon
A small poisonous fish; a baloon-fish. It has the peculiarity of becoming inflated or distended like a balloon, when attacked or caught and brought out of the water. Hence it is often used to designate fat, stout, fleshy, large-bellied people. Daw butíti siá. He is as fat as an inflated butíti-fish.
