Meaning of hípu

To take in, gather, collect, appropriate to oneself. Indì mo paghipúhon ang tanán, kóndì pahilábta man ang ibán. Don't gather in all for yourself, but let others also have a share. (see karipón, harípo, hirípo, típon, ángkon).
