Freq. of salâ. To confess, own to a fault, acknowledge a mistake, admit being in the wrong, say "salâ ko".-It is my fault, I am to blame. My mistake. Frequently this panalâ is almost identical in meaning with súmpà, panúmpà-to swear, take an oath, declare under oath. "Salâ ko" may also mean (according to the context): If what I say is not true, I am a liar (am committing the sin of telling lies).
