Amongst the egoism and selfishness of the majority now-a-days there still remain some who have consideration and regard for their neighbours. (see paiyáíya).

Nagapapílì siá liwán? Is he offering his candidature again? Ang ibán nga mga nagapapílì maáyo manghapóhap (mangapóhap) sa mga pumililî. Some candidates are clever at (well versed in) fooling (flattering) the electors. (Note the accent in the following). Napilián siá nga pangúlopuód sang pagpiniliáy nga naglígad. Sal-otí gid ang ímo mga buluhatón sa pagsulát sa ímo mga ginikánan. Try hard to squeeze in among your various occupations the writing of a letter to your parents.
